Jacquie Bishop is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She received her M.A. degree in Counselling from Saint Paul University. She joined the Firestone CBT Clinic to pursue her passion for working with adults and adolescents who want to address concerns related to anxiety, depression, self-esteem, ADHD / neurodivergence, grief and difficult life transitions.
In addition to her experience providing psychotherapy services in the community, Jacquie has received training from the Beck Institute and the Albert Ellis Institute. Her theoretical approach is based in cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), incorporating elements of emotion-focused therapy (EFT). Jacquie supports her clients by fostering psychological well-being and resilience.
Outside of her work, Jacquie enjoys playing volleyball, singing and playing guitar, reading and spending time with family and friends.
